We are working on repainting the C-47 at Grissom in the markings of LT. Jim Haus's "Do It" that flew in the 1st Air Commandos in the CBI. Any one interested in helping please drop me a PM and we will work out a time that you can volunteer. No previous skills are needed, just a love of warbirds.

That is cool Chris!

I wish I could visit, but will not have the opportunity until June. My daughter lives in Laffayette, so I would be close.

You are farther along with the Gooney Bird than we are with the F-84F. What type of paint are you using and how are you applying it?
