I was asked a question today that I had no idea how to answer: How much is an OX-5 engine, in working order, with a "good" wooden prop worth?

Depends on valve train, type of magneto, crankcase condition (they corrode), coolant distribution system components, etc. I sold two on consignment a few years ago. VERY unfortunately, I found most of them (including the two I sold, one of which was a documented historic engine) are going into vintage race car replicas. I'm sure the market has come down, but you are looking at $3500 to $10,000 depending on condition.
