I think I've figured it out, Colonel.

1. Built by Mitsubishi

2. Important to aviation history because--due to its distinctive rivet pattern--TIGHAR has proven that the metal strip above the door came from Amelia Earhart's plane.

So what did I win? :P

I'll have to fold. Travel trailer trivia is a little outta' my league.

By the way, I've already reached Owen; so you can save your dime for a rainy day. Thanks for the offer though.

Is it a Shasta? I know some of them had those little fins - I know it's not a Spartan as I was dumb enough to talk a friend into buying one of those 35-foot monsters for $100.00 and it spent the next six months in front of my house...

Rohr Aircraft in Chula Vista, CA. They also built pre-manufactured housing made from aluminum I think. Probably where all those aircraft at Cal-Aero Field (now Chino Airport) went to from the movie, "Best Years of Our Lives."

Rob
We should get a few of those and make a setup at Geneseo. We could be Re-enactors? A WIX village or maybe more like a penal colony.

Built by Aircraft Industries... Maybe Rohr Industries?

Important to the Aviation World...

GOT IT- It's the trailer where Rob Rohr was conceived...!

I can't believe I'm the one who thought of this answer first!
