Hi everyone. I was doing some searching and came across this website so I figured it'd be a great place to ask. Do any of you know of any appraisal software or guides for 1950's-1970's military trainers? I'm an aircraft appraiser that does civil aircaft, your typical Cessnas etc, but was asked to come do evaluations of a Pilatus P2 and P3. I could go the usual route of just looking at what's been bought or sold recently and compare times/conditions however it would be nice if there's databased information on them out there. NAAA and Blue Book don't have them. I've emailed Vref however I'll have to wait to hear back.

Thanks for any help,
Chance

There are plenty of places to find asking prices, but not much for actual sale prices. You could pull the FAA microfiche bill of sale records for some aircraft in similar condition- any title search outfit should be able to do that for you in Oklahoma City. Just watch out for private sales though as some are not recorded honestly (so I'm told).

I can't imagine that their is any other reliable data out there. Not enough sales to warrant it!

First off, thanks for having and glad to be here I'll do my best to drop by from time to time.

Secondly, Soko121 thanks for the info. I don't have any specific questions yet however if you don't mind me asking what does one in "showroom" quality usually go for assuming someone is looking to buy? Also do you mind if I ask you what a few spare parts might be worth? In the picturse I saw a set of wings and not sure what else but there's several boxes.

Thanks,
Chance
