This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Bill Greenwood brought his Spitfire to the 2007 Geneseo airshow in New York. Bill flew from Colorado to Geneseo just to meet up with some pressing wix fans.

How cool is that?

Got to enjoy some early morning breakfast with Bill and a few other wix members. Bill even saved me from a serious sun burn when he grabbed me some sun screen lotion out of the Spitfire. Not many people fly an expensive airplane half way across the country to say hello to new friends.
Thanks Bill

Bill Greenwood is no less opinionated than many others on these forums, and much more cordial. Yet they still manage to post here while he has been banned....again.

What's the status on his Spit? Is it rebuilt yet?

Could be because his "opinions" cross/crossed the boundaries of the forum rules time after time.

Oh yes...there have been others. Rob Rohr comes to mind. I know there are/were a couple of others whose names escape me at the moment.
You may not agree with his decision but Scott IS the final arbiter and if he
says you've crossed the line, YOU'VE CROSSED THE LINE.

Mr. Greenwood also, after many, many warnings to stay away for his suspension, he kept trying to sneak back in under other names. His IP address always gave him away.
Scott became fed up.
