I've been in contact with a Frenchman who is interested in obtaining all the information he can concerning Capt Louis D. Morrison 382 Sqn. Capt Morrison was shot down by ground fire over Plouigneau, France on Aug 9, 1944. He parachuted safely and was picked up by the 15th US Cavalry Sqn during the battle of Plouigneau. He spent a few days with the15th before being returned to the 382nd at Azille, France. Any information as to his mission objective, after battle reports for the unit (SCU's) or other info concerning Capt Morrison The Frenchman is an author and wants to write a detailed article or book of the battle. We have quite a bit of information on the 15th Cav's participation, even the Capt. who rescued Capt Morrison.

Appreciate the effort,

Carl R. White
