Warbird Information Exchange

I am new to this place and wondered if anybody owns a warbird? If so, what kind is it?!

Welcome to WIX; there are indeed some Warbird owners who frequent the forum...as to who's who, I'll leave that to them, but you asked about aircraft types owned, and off the top of my head I can recall the following, either projects or completed flyers...Boeing Stearman; Vultee BT-13; Focke-Wulf Piaggio 149D; Fairchild PT-19; Fairchild PT-26; Hawker Sea Fury; Aero L-39. Many more Warbird projects/flyers have forum members working on them/flying them or otherwise involved.

Unfortunately none of the folk referred to above is me!...There are many other forumites who fall into the category of "plain old enthusiast" for various reasons; in my own case, (1) no mechanical aptitude, (2) unknown pilot potential, (3) no money, which serves to guarantee that (2) will remain unknown!
