I posted this on the Yahoo VulteeValiant forum, but no one seems to be reading it. Maybe you can help?
During the 1970's there was a children's' nursery school in Dearborn, Michigan that had a BT-15 on it. Some time prior to 1980 it was removed. I would like to track down the fate of this craft. The revoked registration was N9806H (last FAA registered owner has long since moved on), listed as serial number 3395 (I assume manufacture's number). That would place it in the BT-13 range, but it is registered as a BT-15 and it was fitted with the Wright engine.

Does anyone have any ideas as to it's fate?

Check out the photo's here:

The son of the former owner of the school was friendly in his e-mails to me until I mentioned the BT. He then clammed up and stopped responding.

The individual who bought the Sherman tank from the school said the BT was gone before he pulled the tank out.

I think there was a thread about this BT a few months back. You might want to do a search.

I remember the thread...but since the photos are the same ones, I
assumed Paul was the originator.

I too remember this plane, it was on Plymouth Road near Telegraph and right alongside the old drive in. Not sure what happened to it. I Think I may have the data plate and maybe a pic for it some where.

If you can plz post a picture of that BT-15. We are looking for external diff between BT-13/BT-15 types. (L/Side fuselage). We also want to know what each line says on the Vultee ID data plate, the AAF plate and the small plate in between. Tks BT-13 buff FAH 619.
