I went to the Goshen airshow this past Saturday, which overall was a good show. Got to check out the Warbird Digest b-25 for the first time. Very nice plane! The highlight of the show though was Dean Cutshall's F-100 which performed several high-speed and one "dirty" configuration passes! Quite a rare sight. The Indiana Aviation Museum P-51 "Excalibur" also made a cuple of flights. Their A-37 and T-28 were also on static display. John Shuttleworth flew a nice aerobatic demo in his YAK-52TW. The most unique act of the show involved an old Sikorsky helicopter picking up and dropping a Cutlass(car) from 150 feet, which was very entertaining! Will Ward did a nice beat-up of the field in his Mig-17, as did Eric Woelbing with the Sea Fury "Miss Merced." Other warbirds included 8 T-6 Texans, David Tinker's Avenger, the AC-47 Spooky Gunship, a cuple of T-34s, a Navion and a Meyers OTW. Still a great warbird show, and a fun one to go to!
