Hi, Looking for those with long memories or old photo albums...
Two queries I posted on another thread brought me some very helpful answers - so I shall try this long-shot.
When RCAF released their Lend-Lease Cornells in 1946 most came south for sale in the USA, as per the termination agreements.
The Tiffin School of Aeronautics purchased Cornells NC9606H (FJ662), possibly NC9607H (10743) and perhaps more.
They sold off N9606H in 1951 and it survives today in the UK. N9607H donated it's Ranger engine to N9606H in 1948.
Has anyone any knowledge of this academy and any photographs of their aircraft?
I should have added this is Tiffin, Ohio - about 40 miles SE of Toledo.
Tony
