The history of the B-29 and its problems with the Wright 3350 have been covered extensively, but is there any documentation on how that engine behaved on the B-32? I assume it was the same version as on the B-29 which would lead one to believe that the
'32 would have the same problems. Yet, I don't recall reading about any engine problems during the flight test period or its brief combat career.
