Hey guys!

All the parts are now washed, electrical system is done, we are waiting for hydraulic parts to finish the system and then we're putting her out to clean the wings and fuselage.

We removed a gear door to repair small cracks, but there's nothing really serious on the aircraft.

We removed the Japanese markings this morning, can anyone of you guess who it'll come out??

Hint : It won't get repainted.

I suspect that there is red paint left over from the Hinomaru, so a red star it will be!

Hi!

Today the fuel selector was put in place, tomorrow we attack the hydraulic components.

It won't be ready this week-end, but surely in the middle of next week!!

Did you have to replace the cone in the selector? What's up with the hydraulics?

The gasket was cooked, we replaced it. Everything else was fine.

All the hydraulic rams are leaking, so we have ordered all the seals, o-rings, cups, etc. we needed and we got them yesterday.

We start that tomorrow.

Well, at least all that hydraulic fluid keeps the corrosion at bay! We're going through the same thing on mine right now as part of the resto...

Yep, it's a must.

But all the fitting and hoses are #1. I guess they never really changed the rings in the cylinders!!
