In the past week or so I saw a link to a warbird forum from NZ. Anybody know the website?

Note it's run by WIX regular and all-around good egg Dave Homewood.

Yeah...got that one earmarked for quite a while now. Radialicious' resurrection of the Bristol Freighter, and particularly the wonders of the sleeve-valve Hercules have been quite a kick.

And covers all aspects of aviation. As you would expect from the home of Warbirds Over Wanaka, The Vintage Aviator/Omaka Airshow, Avspecs etc etc, there is plenty of warbirds discussion, and we are lucky to have some great photography (warbirds and other subjects) as well.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the comments. It's really humbling and fantastic to know how much my forum is appreciated both across NZ itself and around the world. It's the members that make it a great place, so much information that comes out of the woodwork that would never have seen the light of day in books or magazines, not to mention the amazing photos both old and new. And the fact that many of them are legends in their own rights as warbird pilots, aerobatic pilots, RNZAF veterans, aircraft collectors, restorers, photographers and all those kinds of people that I used to only read about in magazines and now call friends, that makes it really special.

It's neat to have friends from the USA aboard too, so if you haven't yet checked it out, you're most welcome to pop in for a browse, and feel free to stay. In fact I have a collection of photos that are on their way to me in the next few days or weeks and I'm told there are likely to be numerous Confederate Air Force 1980's airshow photos among them, so I will post them up on the forum when I get them scanned. Stay tuned.
