Help please! I was unable to get a good ID on an aircraft that flew just south of Marengo, IL today around noon. By the time I saw it, it had just passed overhead and was flying away from me. Bi-plane, single rotary engine. Kinda looked like a F3F, except it had a hull and floats at each end of the wing. Best guess is a Grumman Duck? Anyone know what might have been in transit at that time?

You might have seen Chuck Greenhills Grumman Duck. Check the inside cover of the latest Air Classics magazine and see if you think that was the one.
