Does anyone know which one it is? I'm guessing one of Rod Lewis' birds. Is the scheme authentic?

Don't know for sure, but with that name I would bet big bucks it is Rods'. Why would you need permission to take a picture of that car? The plane just got in the way.

Without the Tequila distiller ad on the nose and if it had yellow spinners, it would be 95% accurate for the XF7F prototype, are we headed back into an era of swoopy 70's paint schemes?

it is a beautiful plane though ain't it.. It would be great to see the restoration process from a few more folks, like the way the restoration is going on the sole surviving PBJ-25 :supz:

I think the silver looks very nice and look forward to seeing more. 8)

The nose art and gun barrel trim are not really my cup of tea :? But hey, as long as the owner likes it.

Hey, it's his plane, he can paint it however he wants. I don't like it at all, I much prefer authentic schemes, but it ain't my plane and it ain't my money, so... *shrug*

That P-40 sharing the ramp, on the other hand, was really outstanding!

You know what I was almost, almost going to say that.., but I did not want to brush across an already 'statically charged' issue.

But thanks for that!

Better you than me
