Can anyone please tell me what the large lamp/strobe light arrangement is on this A-26 Invader is please.
It could have something to do with the RB-26C's of 11th TRS, Photo -Recon with targeted flash bombing system. The system is called a D-5 unit using strobes.
Any ideas ?

Joe Baugher's pages shows the Invader to be 43-22565 Douglas A-26C-25-DT going to Cuba in 1957 as FAEC 933.
Would love to see her card of assignments prior to going to Cuba
