Thunder will have two battles each day, with american troops, german troops, and a american stuart tank and two half tracks. (the stuart tank will fire blank shells from the main gun) We will also have the 4 P-47s and ME-109 perticipate in gun runs on the troops during the battle. This all will take place on the north side of the show site in the farm field at about 11:30am and 2:30pm each show day.
For those of you that saw the battle last year, you know what to look forward to 8)

This sounds really neat...

Is this very close to the rest of the displays or is there transport
required to another part of the field?

Hi All,

I am SO looking forward to this show.....keeps getting better all the time. Now...if somehow the folks that organize this one could say....talk Kermit Weeks into brining his -24 up....that would REALLY make up for FiFi's loss due to maintenance....just wishful thinking on my part of course.

Now all I gotta do is find some place to stay, get a new digi cam that can take mpg video fils, a memonry card and a whole lot of film for my 35 mm...I'll be all set :D . Not too much left to do is there.

Paul
