Hi all,

Does anyone know how to put add-ons from the net into your flight sims?? I've tried and nothing has worked.

Thanks!

Hi Nathan,
What Flight Sim are you trying to put add-ons into? They vary from sim to sim, but normally come with detailed instructions There are some really great freeware add-ons out there for MS Flight Sim 2004.

Yes I know how, I have about 400 planes downloaded and installed on FS9

E-mail me at one of the below addresses and I will walk you through it.

By the way I get all my planes FREE off the NET at least at flightsim.com

Another good site that I download from is www.simviation.com.
It's a lot easier to navigate around than flightsim.com.

Cheers

Hi guys!

Thanks for the replies! Im looking to figure out how to download add-ons for my FS 2000 and CFS 2. I once downloaded a P-40, my friend tried everything to get it on my game, but he couldn't do it. :?

I think the download of the P-40 was from www.Pacificghosts.com . They looked pretty neat with great graphics. Plus that has been the only place I have been successful at downloading the airplane file.

Dors,

That's my dream as well. I'm working towards it but there's a very long way to go.

My plan is:

Get Private license (Done)
Get Taildragger endorsement (Done)
Get Complex aircraft endorsement (Almost done)

Get Acrobatic instruction (next on the list)
Get High Powered Aircraft endorsement

Get AT-6 instruction and signoff
Get multi-engine endorsement

Coincident with all of the above is working on my IFR ticket.

And then keep piling on the hours........

Normally fairly quick.
Most of the aircraft come in winzip files that range anywhere from 2MB up to 20MB !!

You just open and extract the files to your "aircraft" folder of your FS2004 dirctory. It normally (I say normally, not always) creates the specific aircraft folder and extracts automatically.

Then you're ready to fly !!

Last night I was flying an XB-70 Valkyrie at Mach 3 over the state of Arizona at 70,000 ft. Left a huge contrail. Awesome stuff !!!
