The March Air Museum is in the middle of a repaint of their B-17. This Thursday night at 8PM EST they will announce live the new markings on our Warbird Rescue show on Warbird Radio. You can listen in at www.warbirdradio.com I can not wait to hear what it is.

Me too. There is word that their B-17 is a 15th AF combat vet. So I am wondering if it may be along those lines.

When I was at March a few weeks ago, a gentleman working on her invited me to "cross the line" and get up close to the B-17 and Phantom in the restoration area. We had a nice conversation (I feel bad that I'm too tired to remember his name without my notes), and it was pretty cool to learn that he was a Vietnam Vet from Long Islang who stayed in CA after getting out of the service. His first job then... working for Tallmantz on "the Great Waldo Pepper". NICE!
