I'm surprised to see a Hawker Hunter there.

Must have been sent by ship to the islands, I don't think it has the ferry range to fly from the mainland.
Anyone know more about it?

Yes or is based there. The USN uses a civillian contractor to pull missles and drones up of the firing rage from what I recall him saying. Really nice guys with a nice helicopter.

My Dad was stationed on Oahu (Air Force) from '68 to '72 and I remember playing on a sub conning tower, shooting the machine gun (.50?) at all the people walking by. Wonder if it is the same one?
