Me too ! I own a 1946 American Tripple Combo basicly a WW2 truck.
We have a P-4 at the Texas Fire Museum and Hopefuly we will be Getting BIG BERTHA from Fort Hood She was one of 6 that were made and is listed as the last in active Duty Has Two 750 Catapiller Engine's and can carry 10,000.00 Gal of Water Her tires are over 7 feet tall .

Our little Army Air Field museum out in western Nebraska has one of the original fire trucks assigned to the field and one of the big aircraft recovery trucks that showed up around the time the B-29s started training there. The fire truck we have is the little Ford second from the right in this photo:
The big unit on the left of the photo was the crash truck that was assigned to all 2AF B-29 fields in '44.

Saw this fine example at the Barksdale AFB Open House a couple of years ago.
Not exactly vintage but will be someday...

Would be interested in knowing if this is McCook AAB. Fire trucks from left, Class 150 Sterling-Cardox, Class 125 International-John Bean and Class 525 Ford-Hahn.
