I spoke with Bill Greenwood last night about his Spitfire TE308.
He told me that the original leading edges have been installed on both wings and that work is continuing. Sadly no pictures, nor do I know when the aircraft will be ready to fly again.
I hope to see the Spitfire up in the air soon.

I don't really know the progress of the hurricane at this time.
It was double hit with the "incident" and the "hurricane" that hit the museum afterwards.
Rumor has it that no restoration has happened at all.
