Could anybody point me in the direction of where I can obtain detailed crash reports for specific A/C?

As a starting point, I have the A/C type, serial number(s), and date of crash. I`m looking for the exact location the plane went down and what the AAF did with the remnants of the airframe.

I live not too far from a WWII training base and would like to see if there are wreck sites lurking out in a farm field next summer. I know it`s a long shot, but it`ll keep me out of the bar :drinkers:

Any help would be much appreciated. Thx -Chris.

Ive gotten a few crash reports from Aviation Archaeology and have been happy with their service.

I have every AAF WWII accident report in my basement. What is the date? What is the location? I'll take a look at the report.

If Tony doesn't have what you're looking for then yes, Craig Fuller at AAIR is the place to go. He's very reasonable and offers them in PDF format emailed to you.
