Finally, here are two 1944-vintage shots of a Royal Navy Avenger that bellied-in near Port Hope, Ontario, being recovered by the Salvage Section of #6 Repair Depot from Trenton...

Roger that...I especially enjoy seeing the "working girls" as well. (My dad and I used to drive round southern Ontario in search of them; we also made it a point to visit several tanker bases on a trip out West in '95, and to drop in at FPL when headed for Nova Scotia in '02.)

Actually I have an entire P'bucket album devoted to such Warbirds, which is where those TBM images came from; here's the link to the whole album...which also includes Trackers, Invaders, et cetera.
