Has anyone had a chance to go see Glacier Girl at her new home?

Any word on if/where the museum might be placed/relocated?
I believe it was said to have been acquired in the deal?

I thought it was going to stay in the Provedance Fighter private collection.

I believe the question was connected with the disposition of the museum artifacts that were / are on display at Middlesboro, rather than the airframe itself.

And the new owner is Provenance Fighter Sales, btw.

Yeah, the museum would be awesome too see along with the bird itself.

For all who do not know.

It is based at French Valley airport, French Valley Ca.

Just east of Temecula, Ca.

Not sure what other birds are there with it.

I guess the TF-51, a Jug, and a Cosky (Corsair)?

It/they are available to see, if you are in the local area.

I was told, Mon. thru Fri. 9 to 4(?)

The P-47 has been sold and has now moved on (see recent thread on 'No Guts, No Glory')

Cool beans.

I am really excited to know that we stand the potential to not only see GG, but possibly other "stock" from the ranch (so to speak!) at Chino, and possibly other gatherings, like Riverside, and Hemet airshow, as well as many others in the area/s.

I'd better get my ducks in a row soon! and take advantage of a 51' ride before it hits over 1k!

Is Provenance really going to keep it?

That would seem to be their plan, at least for the short term.

There is also talk of Steve Hinton flying it across the Atlantic to the UK this summer.

Wasn't that the original plane for GG, to retrace and finish the last flight?

Time to do a little clandestine info gathering at POF to see if the rumor about Steve flying to Duxford in Glacier Girl is true.

I bet the insurance carrier would be happy about that. Steve may take it east, but not that far.
