I'm sure many of you have seen this before, but I've kept this little video bookmarked since it was e-mailed to me several years ago...I've seen a lot of Mustang videos on Youtube, etc, but NONE sound quite like this video. I'm sure the quality of the recording device had a lot to do with it, but this is probably the best example I know of of a Merlin in "full song." Enjoy! http://www.clipwings.com/clip/771/SHF_P51_D_Mustang_

P.S. This Mustang was up on Courtesy not too terribly long ago...anyone know where she went?

OK, fess up, how many of you looked to the right and unfocused your eyes for 20 seconds listening closely while the Merlin got up and chuggin'? I sure did.

Looks like an Embraer/Short Bros. Tucano/Super Tucano. Hard to tell between the two without more side view. Not to mention it and the PC-7/9 look a lot alike as well.

It is very, very good, but nothing comes close to the sound of a Merlin pulling over 100 inches at Reno.
