Vlado!

Are you retiring???

Or is this just creating another "opportunity"?

Creating another opportunity.
I have other aircraft to fly in airshows this coming year.
After 25 years in Moonbeam, I have decided to change venues - a little.
Thanks for your concern,
Vlado :drink3:

The listing says "New cuffs" on the prop. I THINK I have an idea what they are refering to but could somebody explain what this refers to please?
My decision to buy it depends entirely on this. Oh, there is a small item about the money

The Cuffs are a rubber compound injected into a mold positioned on the blade and bonded to the blade.
In the last several years someone has made the mold and sought out FAA approval to install cuffs on specific blades.
Good luck with the lotto tickets

Vlado I still remember the "Your mustang or your wife" article in Warbirds Worldwide.

You and Moonbeam have had a great run indeed!

All the best

Vlado, sad to hear that you're selling Moonbeam. Maybe you can convince Scott to sell you a part of his Piper? :)

Can't wait to hear what your airshow lineup is for next year though. Sometimes just being a pilot and getting to "borrow" other people's planes can be a lot more fun. :)

I've been seeing Vlado fly Moonbeam dating back to when I was about four years old. Lots of great memories watching him fly dating back to the old Kalamazoo, Elkhart and Goshen events. Moonbeam was a big reason I got interested in warbirds at such a young age. I remember Vlado letting me stand on the wing of Moonbeam at an airshow in Goshen when I was about 10 year old. Thanks for sharing your P-51 with us. Looking forward to what's next. :drink3:

I guess I can re-post my favorite "Moonbeam" photo (I am a bit biased towards multi winged aircraft...)

Image
Caroline Sheen photo, over Oshkosh 2010

That was a fun day Vlado. Unfortunately the Triplane had an engine failure on August 26 this year near Denver and crashed heavily, and Mark (Holliday, pilot in the above photo) is still in a rehab hospital, but making progress, and hopefully home in a few weeks-
