I haven't hear much about Mr. Wood's collection since he passed away. Are the aircraft still being kept in the family?

I'm not an authority on the matter but I believe the family still owns all or most of the collection. The Mustang is still a regular at the Indy air show. Dale Snodgrass flew it last year if I remember correctly. Trey Carroll posted video of Steve Hinton flying the F-86 a while back, and the Bearcat was back in annual for the Indy airshow last year but didn't make it because of lack of pilot.

Correct, Greg. Here is a picture of the Air Force Heritage Flight from the 2011 Indianapolis Air Show with Captain Garrett "Mace" Dover of Viper West in the F-16 and Dale "Snort" Snodgrass in the Mustang. Shameless plug - please visit my site in my signature below for more air show pictures and video!

Based at Indianapolis Metro now (KUMP) Owned by the Tom Wood Incorporated/ Wood family. She doesn't fly anymore (much) once or twice a year maybe, they don't fly any of the warbirds, just not a focus of the leaders now.

Very sad, a lot of very cool airplanes collecting dust.

Here's pics of dad flying her last May, hasn't flown since I don't think.
