Great issue Todd. We need a reminder that the term warbirds just does not apply to P-51, Spitfires, and Corsairs.

Love the cover shot- I told Greg that you can hear those rotors!

nearly every freightdog DC3 i flew had a warbird pedigree be it C47,C53, R4D, or RAF Dakota, in fact I only flew 2 bona fide civilian DC3s , all our good ships were WW2 vets.
