Well, Scott...Transport Pilots bring the bombs, ammo, fuel, spares, tools, and personnel to enable the others to do their job!

Their only purpose is to get the real heros of the airlift world (loadmasters) from place to place. Doesn't matter if it's party to party or war to war!

Scott, how come C-119G serial 10955, RCAF 22130, N15501 is not on the registry ? It is prob the best known C-119. It was used for the remake of The Flight of the Phoenix, and it is airworthy, last flown 1 month ago from Greybull to Glendale, Az.

It's just a matter of time. It takes between 5-20 minutes to do an entry for the registry. The more readily available the information the quicker it goes. The Registry is by no means complete for any aircraft type and is an ongoing project. 10955 will most likely be added in the near future (especially now that it's been brought up). But in general it's just a matter of how much time I can devote to the Registry (currently 20+ hours a week on top of a 40-45 hour a week job  )

Feel free to send me information on an airplane and it is more likely to get added than If I have to research the plane myself :)

The B-23 (39-063) that has long been at Moses Lake, WA is shown as owned by Carmacks Commercial Corp, Anchorage, AK, as of Nov. 2003.

What does Carmacks do? Please don't tell us they haul dripping wet salt water fish or something of the like.

Dunno what's intended for the the Dragon, but Carmacks appears to be
a corporate formation in Alaska from a Moses Lake resident who also
bought Schaefli's Super Catalina, N31235/October 2006 and registered
'er in the the same way.

Dunno what's intended for the the Dragon, but Carmacks appears to be
a corporate formation in Alaska from a Moses Lake resident who also
bought Schaefley's Super Catalina, N31235/October 2006 and registered
'er in the the same way.

But the Cuper Cat was flown to Ephrata, WA?

Yeah A26invader, I read that same article a while back. Ephrata is about 20 miles
northeast of Moses Lake. The Carmacks sole company officer in all capacities
is the Moses Lake resident I mentioned. Folks here in the US, as well as the rest of
the world..as I'm sure you know, sometimes register their property in places or under
names, which present the best advantages for their needs.

Or...maybe he will start a Warbird sightseeing business in Alaska, who knows?
From a Washington fishing site, I gather he is a real estate developer...dunno
what his aviation experience is..but with a Super Cat and a Dragon, I'd
say he certainly has a discerning and eclectic taste...or a horsetrader who's
being introduced to the wonders of vintage aviation?

Yes, but if the Cat realy was flown to Ephrata, there must have been a deeper meaning with it... restoration perhaps? Last time I was there, a couple of Ex-IIAF Daks were sitting on the ramp. Don't think there's any connection though...
