Did anyone else go to McChord's airshow this weekend?
They had the usual modern stuff, but I really liked the Bearcat/F-18 duo, as well as the P-51/F-15 flights. Good stuff.
I took me Willys Jeep, and although the airplane shots were taken with my still camera and that film isn't going in until tomorrow, here's a couple of shots I took around the base with my wheels on Saturday....
I especially like the B-1 shot, as their crew chief was envying my Jeep.
I also got to eye their B-18 and B-23. I especially like the C-47 shot we got just before I came home for the night:

Nope. That's kind of funny when you consider I was able to see a B-18 and a B-23, but not a BUFF. I was told the B-1 was flying an airshow routine on Friday, but it didn't fly during the weekend. I was hoping to see a B-2 flyby like they had back in 2000, but no dice this year. No stealths of any kind.

That's probably because the B-52s are out 'doing the job' and the B-1s are....paperweights.

:)
