It's actually a Sikorsky S-58. Cool concept and video.

Might want to step on the projection speed, @ the current rate, it could take all day to watch a 6 minute video and the sound is illegible, sort of like watching your Aunt and Uncles slides of their trip to Arizona.

You have to wait until it completely loads and then play it. Still takes about 15 mins. to watch with any kind of "flow" and intelligible speaking. Would have liked to see the thing fly for a little longer. In the only clip, it appeared to be doing a "Stuka" imitation. Then there was 4 minutes of talking.

The S-58T was indeed a Vietnam Warbird. Before conversion to it's present guise, it served out in Vietnam as a UH-34D with several USMC units at Danang, Phu Bai Ky Ha and off various carriers, before eventualy being retired by the USMC in 1971. It was converted to a S-58T in 1973 and then found fame in the Riptide TV show as "Screaming Mimi".
