f-86 sabre drone thing

ive seen some images of f-86's wether in a reference book or a magazine in the past about some sort of tug behind the f-86 and i wondered if someone could give me some reference as to what it does or how it works or what else you can tell me.

I did see this in some sort of reference book but am scrambling to find it...

any help would be great

Private contractors towed targets from F-86's in the past. A winch mechanism connected to a winged dart shape which was extended by cable far behind the A/C.
The F-86 airframes were also turned into remote control drone targets.

thank you, what did they aim at it or how did they train using it...how did they take off with it...if there are any photos of it or any could you please post here
