From FHC's Facebook page for those of you who don't have an account. Not sure you really need one. Hellcat "drone" being closely followed by manned F8F's. Love to see this photo in color.

And I found this video today as well. They even landed them. Wonder how well that went?

The tails were painted different colors to denote radio frequencies for control.

Looks weird seeing a photo of a Hellcat flying without a pilot.

Note the tailwheel has an extension and sits down lower. This extended length helps some with keeping it rolling straighter on landing. With the extension it wouldn't fit in the wheel well if it retracted and so was fixed in the down position.

You and me both Mark! I'm guessing the Hellcat probably has a red fuse with white or yellow nose bowl and tail surfaces. Looks like the main wings may also be the lighter color but hard to say. Shameless self promotion I know but I can't pass up an opportunity to show off my recently completed R/C model of an F6F-5K drone! I really like some of the out of the ordinary markings to be found on second world war types.

In the photo from Clifford above you can see Hellcat #16 seems to have the original tailwheel setup and #12 and #17 on either side looks extended.
