A lady friend and her husband are down in Austin TX area at the Street Rod Run, and she sent me this picture of a B-25 down there. I don't find the name in the registry, maybe it was added on after the pranging ? Anybody know who /what / where, etc on this plane ? Trying to see if she got any more pics, but haven't heard from her yet.

Carlisle1926 has been busy!

It is a Loadstar in disguise.

Take a look at this thread:

As mentioned, also see here (quite a lengthy thread in all): http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/show ... 18&page=22

As pointed to, it is actually a fuselage from a damaged Lockheed C60 Lodestar that has been saved, and is being worked into a drivable vehicle. A "B-25 like" bomber nose has been fabricated to it. The project is the brainchild of Jason Barnett, who is also a member here too. An absolute artist, you have to check out his work at his website here: http://www.jasonbarnett.net/main.html
