Go to any lake in Europe. If you look on the bottom, your bound to find something off an airplane. And then there's the channel...

The channel! We would probably be amazed and in awe of what could be found there.

Smiled through the entire "Aussie Aviator net" sequence.
Picture of Cliff Robertson's Spit mentioned that he was in Baa Baa Blacksheep. Wasn't aware of that. I sure don't remember him being in it.
(Of course, at my age, I don't remember what I did yesterday.

Cliff Robertson was never in the Baa Baa Blacksheep TV show though he and Robert Conrad could be brothers to look at them.
The Norwegians have had a pretty active recovery operation of WW2 wrecks since at least the 1980s. Numerous Ju 52s have been recovered and several Ju 88s (Two are being restored), at least one Heinkel 111, and several Fw 190s and numerous other aircraft. Two Handley Page Halifax's have been recovered and recently a Blackburn Skua, (I think, it definitely was a Fleet Air Arm type.)

Yep - it was a Skua. They've got enough to rebuild a complete Skua now.
