Word has filtered in from rumor control that there's an outfit called ATAC somewhere in Kaliporniee and sitting in their hanger is an IAI KFIR.......anyone have info??

I know these are working airplanes that work under government contracts, but it would be outstanding to see the Hunters, Kfirs and Skyhawks fly at an air show some time. I would especially like to see a 4-ship flyby of the Hawker Hunters as shown in one of the photos in the photo gallery on their web site:

Jim,
Stop by next time you are in Newport News, VA. I within 5 traffic lights of Newport News/Williamsburg (PHF) and on some days you would think there is an air show going on. ATAC is based here and we see their fleet coming and going all the time. Mostly their Learjets but also the Hunters, Kfirs and Scooters. If things get boring the local military bases like to bound out of here. The 89th Airwing out of Andrews makes its presence felt a good bit as well, including their big bird.

One of the ATAC Kfirs was lost in a fatal crash at Fallon last month

Very sorry to hear of the loss of retired Navy Captain LeFon in the crash of the Kfir last month. Condolences to all family and friends.

There is a det @ Pt Mugu in SoCal ,with Kfirs, Hunters & Skyhawks -heard rumors that ATAC was doing away with the Skyhawks for L-39s
