Thanks for that link!

It's been a few years since I listened to any wartime broadcasts... used to collect OTR shows, especially the news broadcasts and stuff like The Shadow, Jack Benny, Fibber McGee, Glenn Miller broadcasts, etc. I'd listen to that stuff while modeling and researching, for some period inspiration. Would also play it as background out in the garage when some wing-nut friends would come over to shoot the sh*t.

Not sure if it's included in any of the broadcasts provided on that page or not, but there is a report by George Hicks which is pretty groovy... you can grab that here:

I have listened to those "complete broadcast" recordings a couple of times in the past, really interesting to hear it all unfolding like that.

There are lots of D Day related recordings on this page too (and much more)
