According to the report by the search time that found the possible remains of the pilot, the aircraft was still in the desert as of two weeks ago (June 16th) and still suffering continued vandalism. Apparently someone is charging tourists 80 Euros a head to "visit" the plane. If it's not salvaged soon, it'll end up a strippe, hacked-up hulk like the Lady Be Good.
