YEAH! I don't think that type of mount has ever been used on a phalanx installation, and certainly not on the flight deck. pop2

Thats a different version of the F-35 fake I seen. I saw one from a different angle. The other one was slightly more realistic looking. Either one though are very good computer animations.

NO REALLY IT CAN DO THAT! I have a freind who has a cousin whose girlfriend saw it on the History Channel!

Oh brother, I hope you are joking! The military channel and history channel screw nearly all the facts up! They are notorious to be wrong most of the time to the half trained eye. They do little or NO research at all and neither do their supposed "experts". A 5 year old with a Jane's aircraft guide has the capability of shaming them all!

Unfortunately, the F135 engine we build here at Pratt is designed for vertical landing, Not vertical Take-off. :(
