I'm looking for a nice desk model of a KC-135R for my nephew's birthday (He's assigned to w 135 wing). I need the name of some of the outfits that sell wood or (hopefully) resin models. Unit markings are not important.
I've seen a few of the wooden ones and they don't look quite right, hopefully there is one out there.

In my last squadron (F-15Es), this is where we had our models done:

http://www.squadrontoys.com/

In my current squadron (T-38Cs), this is where we get our models:

https://www.asianimportsinc.com/

Both places produce very well done models for reasonable prices.

You might also try:

http://www.aikensairplanes.com/

and

http://www.flyingmule.com/

They both carry a lot of models.

I collect the 1/32 scale diecast. (Don't care much for the wood.)
I'd like to see a few more diecast models in that size, (F6F, F4U, Typhoon, and a few others) but nobody has made 'em yet.
If you can't find what you want from either of these two, they probably aren't made.

Mudge the modeler
