Figured I'd give another shot....I'm looking for any TB-29 pictures (specifically those from China Lake), information and modification history for the TB-29. I have two TB-29 tail sections (previously discussed in other threads) and am still trying to narrow down their history. One is believed to be B-29-50-MO 44-86318 and the other B-29-80-BW 44-70140. I'm trying to find out more info on the TB-29 conversion and original service photos as well as TB-29 photos from aircraft disposed of at China Lake. Thanks, Van

Mike,
Thank you, but I know how to use google. I have also been to the

Does anyone else have any TB-29 production/conversion data, TB-29 pictures or TB-29 pictures specific to China Lake? TB-29s were converted B-29s that had two tow target chutes mounted on the underside of the tail with long control arms/shafts that ran the length of the fuselage. These arms/shafts were used to tow/control the tow target when released. Additionally the TB-29 had the rear guns and mounting removed.
