This will be my rookie year! Finally after all these years I am going to make it!! Enough of my old Skyfire tapes... I want the real thing!

Really looking forward to at least one trip out to the fenceline to see them up close. Now if my camera comes in time I will be set.

Should be a good year... return of Strega, September Pops new paint scheme, September Fury sporting new mods, Rare Bear with a wing mod, Steve's rookie year, an A-26 visiting before its long flight home.... good stuff....

Brad... I did get into The Sands.

A group of us are going from my home airport / where I live.
It's been a few years since I've attended so I'm looking forward
to it.

I arrive in the early afternoon on Friday, and am staying
at the Phoenix

We'll probably be (mostly) hanging out in the pits....

I know that Col. Rohr loves to call me Mr. Patterson, but please, I'm Steve. Come by the Southern Cross pit and get a Sea Fury hat and t-shirt for the races. I need all the help and support I can get (especially after writing the check for air race insurance this year). Mention that you're from the WIX board and the sales girls will give you 20% off.

I'm also hopeful that it will be a fantastic year at Reno. The return of Strega and Kerch working his magic on Sept. Fury should be very interesting. And it will be nice to catch up with Oscar Duck and his new multi engine toy. Should be a great time.

Steve

Sounds good Steve... I dont think I will call you Lord Patty... I'll be buying a shirt! Look forward to putting more names and faces together. Hope to find you, Bela, and we can talk 170's and Warbirds.

That's due to the English class system, as helpfully explained to us by Sir Stephen on his last visit to us earlier this month.

Us serfs know our place!

Good choice, Randy, if I had the choice of helping anybody out there it would be for the best lookin and one of the most talented T-6 pilots around. Mary and Steve are great folks!

Still trying to get permission to bring Race 76 back to Reno. Not looking good unless Mr Pat uses her as a support ship..

PS: Steve, I'm off to USofA this Thursday on biz for a week. I'll try & give you a call.

Steve count me in also as one of the humble whachacallits wanting to purchase some fine Sea Fury attire.
