This is something interesting we have come accross in one of our many piles of old aircraft stuff. Taigh who I consider the Obi Wan of aerial gunnery and ordinance wasn't sure what it was so I thought I'd open it to the brain trust. The mount to the airframe looks like it may have been meant to bolt to a tublular fuselage structure which could make it really interesting. I know one of you out there can ID this.

The first one who is able to accurately ID, with some backup info, will win a real prize if you PM me your mailing address (sorry we are on a budget soit won;t be a pony :D but it will be a real live bit of aviation ephemera).
