Hi All,

I have a quick question. Some time back I had read an article that Tom Reilly (?) was attempting to work a deal with one of the Canadien Provinces on the recovery of a B-24 that had crash landed and was/is now entombed in a forrest. If my memory is correct it was somewhere up around Halifax or Nova Scotia. Has anyone ever heard anything more on this or had the Canadian Government put the brakes on any recovery effort ?

I had heard, that if it were recovered, it too would be made into a flyable example,

Regards,

Paul

While perusing through old threads as Rob had suggested, I took notice of Ryan's post in the following thread. Looks like a possible "lib" in lake ontario minus a left wing!

A couple years ago I talked to a Fisherman who says he knows the location a 4 engine aircraft in 70 feet of water (NY side). Anyone heard of this?

That would be the famous and much-sought, but not found wreck of a B-24 Liberator off Mexico Bay up near Oswego, NY. -- however, it has been kinda silent as of late and I am not sure if anyone has come across it.
