big inland sea in the US of A

Lot of fishing over the last 25 years so quite a few have been 'netted'.

Hi The Inspector

Go back to the Flypast link. They have worked it out but it involves Lake Michigan and Navy aircraft.

My first thought was the Corsair tail on the back of Taras's boat a couple of years ago.

Come on guys... all those turkey dinners must be making you sleepy. We had a Wildcat recovery being mooted just a few days ago, and Mark even said he'd be coming over for the main recovery. It seems reasonable to figure this is part of that same Lake Michigan Wildcat that the guys at the NAS Glenview museum were hoping to recover.

Cheers,
Richard

Sorry..I just got home last night after spending five days fighting for my life in the hospital, so I'm a bit behind on WIX.

Away from death's door at the moment, but more tests next week likely followed by surgery to correct the issue. Probably shouldn't have brought it up at all.

Steve, we hope you are on the mend now. I went into the hospital in March with life threatening blood clots in my lungs (I have never smoked a cigartette in my life, thank God) so I know the whole experience can be an eye opener.

The weather forecast here for the upcoming week is a good one so maybe this will be happening soon.
