Did anyone see the American Restoration TV show last nite showing the restoration of a fiberglass replica (1/2-1/3 scale?) of an F-105 at Nellis AFB? The plane was painted in Thunderbird colors and I must say the finished product looked pretty darn good. Rick Dale's crew does some impressive work. The airmen at Nellis were so greatful for the work done that Rick was treated to a flight in an F-16!

Maybe 1/4 scale but no way that thing is half the size of a real Thud.

Thanks for the link. Gene Devlin's fatal F-105 crash at Hamilton AFB is, sadly, my earliest aviation memory. Glad to see the memorial was restored.
