Many famous aircraft from F-84s to F-105 to F-4s have flown as USAF Thunderbirds but i have a somewhat feeling of dismay if this is the future... no heritage or warbird potential in a idea like this....as found online... :)

Don't open the image, I got a virus-looking ad pop-up....and I have a pop-up blocker.

And after working with the Thunderbirds a few time while in the AF...believe me, there "ain't no glamor there".
Many of the pilots act like prima donnas looking to gettheir tickests punched to make general someday, and the ground crews work like dogs.

Well, if the American Restoration episode is any indication, the next Thunderbirds aircraft is the F-35. They had a model of one painted in the display case at the museum which housed models of other Thunderbirds aircraft. No other "what if" type models were in the case from what I saw in the 4 or 5 shots of it.

It makes sense...the F-35 is the next F-16.
F-22s are too big (and rare) to use for making noise.

If this is a picture of the future there won't be any prima donna pilots.
The ground crews will be the heros.

That picture must be 5 years old. Hopefully all of us will be long gone by the time pilotless, soulless, Godless warplanes populate the ramps of military bases in any great numbers.

These are not UAVs they are R/C models, like the ones I flew when I was 13. They ain't real airplanes.
