Does anyone know if there will there be any air shows giving a nod to the 60th anniversary of the Korean conflict this year?

Please please quit referring to the Korean War as a conflict. It riles me no end when people use that word
Guys it was a war

The Marine Corps Air Station Yuma Air Show will be saluting Korean and Vietnam War Veterans:

2013 Yuma Airshow

The F-35 will be on static display at the show as well.

OK, my mistake, I thought a war was a conflict. From now on, I will refer to it as the Korean Not-So-Happy-Fun-Time.

I'm curious what it is the 60th anniversary of exactly. Last time I checked, the was was officially still on, just on hiatus.

It was a war to Koreans. For the US it was a police action as defined under the UN Charter, per UN Security Council Resolution 84 (1950).

As most of us know, the US's most recent declared war ended in 1945. We've enjoyed 67 years of peace!

Not counting the War on Terror, and the War on Drugs, and the War on the use of the phrase 'Korean Conflict', recently started. There was also a small war between my kids over who owned the blue PS3 controller, but it ended in a cease-fire a few months ago.

I'm just glad the War on Christmas is over for another several months.

I don't know of any shows incorporating a Korean War theme this year. What a shame.

The Rose Parade yesterday had a float honoring the Korea veterans; they had the usual flyover of the B-2 but it would have been nice to bring in a Sabre or two along with it. Missed opportunity...
