Don't know if this has been mentioned before....sorry if it has.

For the WWII history buffs, I have a Netflix account and stumbled upon this 1951 documentry called Crusade in the Pacific: America at War. It is 24 episodes and each is approx 28-30 minutes long. I'm on episode #7. It's a very good documentry for it's time and has a good bit of footage, both ground and aerial I've never seen before. So far....many aircraft types are locations have been shown.

I can still hear the "Victory at Sea" theme music. When I was 15 years old, this series was brand-new, and my family watched every installment. For the time, it was a fabulous documentary, pretty much unparalleled.
